About the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer
The gas Blazer is a five-seat midsize crossover offered in three trims — 2LT, 3LT and RS — with a 228-hp 2.0L turbo four standard and an available 308-hp 3.6L V6 on the RS that tows up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped. The Blazer EV is a separate, battery-electric SUV on GM’s Ultium platform in LT, RS and SS trims, with up to 312 miles of range and as much as 557 horsepower in the SS. Across both lines, starting prices span from about $34,300 to $60,700, so a family running I-49 between Rogers and Fayetteville can shop gas or electric under one roof.
For 2026 the gas lineup narrows to three trims and makes the turbo four standard across the range, with the V6 now exclusive to the RS. The Blazer EV drops its rear-drive setup, so front-wheel drive is the base configuration and the SS steps up to 557 horsepower (615 in Wide Open Watts mode). Top gas trims add Bose audio, navigation and a heated steering wheel on the RS, while the Blazer EV runs a 17.7-inch touchscreen, Google built-in and available Super Cruise for hands-free highway miles toward XNA or a weekend at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
