About the 2026 Chevrolet Traverse
The 2026 Chevrolet Traverse is a midsize three-row SUV offered in four trims, spanning the value-focused LT around $40,800 up to the sporty RS at about $55,400 (excluding destination), with the off-road Z71 and comfort-focused High Country in between. Every trim shares one powertrain: a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder producing 328 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available, and standard on the Z71. The Traverse tows up to 5,000 pounds properly equipped, seats seven with second-row captain's chairs or eight with the LT bench, and opens to a class-leading 98 cubic feet of cargo.
For 2026, the High Country returns as the lineup's comfort flagship, joining LT, Z71 and RS. Available Super Cruise hands-free driving (standard on High Country and RS) eases the long highway stretches, while standard trailering and available all-wheel drive suit a Northwest Arkansas winter or a run to the lake.
