How safe is the 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe?

There is no fixed mileage. The Engine Oil Life System decides. When the Change Engine Oil Soon message appears, service is required within the next 600 miles, and Chevrolet requires the oil and filter to be changed at least once every 12 months regardless. The 7,500-mile figure you will see published as the oil interval is actually Chevrolet's tire rotation interval.
