About the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
The Grand Sport is the 2027 Corvette lineup's rear-drive entry point, and it opens at $86,000 before destination and runs to $97,750 for the 3LT. One engine powers all three model levels: the new 6.7L LS6, a naturally aspirated V8 making 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic. It wears the wide body previously reserved for the track Corvettes, and it comes standard with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, which is what makes it usable on the two-lanes running out of Bentonville rather than only on dry Sundays.
For 2027 the news is the engine and the badge. The LS6 is the first of Chevrolet's sixth-generation small-blocks, and the all-wheel-drive Grand Sport X, which pairs it with a 186-hp front electric motor for 721 combined horsepower, replaces the E-Ray. Stepping up through the range buys equipment and materials rather than speed: the 2LT adds ventilated seats and blind-zone alerts, the 3LT adds GT2 Napa leather and 14 interior colors, and the two Z52 packages, available on every model level, are what actually change how the car drives.
