2027 Chevrolet Corvette Specs NWA AR

Every figure for every 2027 Corvette engine, sourced directly from Chevrolet and never carried across trims.

Four 2027 Corvettes, four engines, four sets of numbers — nothing in this lineup is shared beyond the C8 spaceframe, the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the two-seat layout, the 18.5-gallon fuel tank and the warranty. Every horsepower, torque, acceleration and price figure below is pulled per model, never inherited from a sibling, because the Stingray, Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X genuinely do not perform the same. For trim-level equipment and pricing, see the Corvette trims page; for the buying case for each car, see the Corvette overview.

Key Numbers

  • Four engines: 535-hp LS6, 670-hp LT6, 1,064-hp LT7, 1,250-hp combined LT7 + eAWD
  • Shared 107.0-inch wheelbase and 48.6-inch height across every model
  • Stingray is the only narrow-body car at 76.1 inches wide; Z06/ZR1/ZR1X share the 79.7-inch wide body
  • Shared 18.5-gallon fuel tank; no factory tow or payload rating on any model

Engine Specifications

Stingray — LS6 6.7L Naturally Aspirated V8

535 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque, which Chevrolet describes as the highest torque figure of any naturally aspirated production V8 ever built. The LS6 runs a 13.0:1 compression ratio, the highest Chevrolet has fitted to a Corvette V8, with both direct and port injection, Active Fuel Management, and a new continuously variable oil pump for consistent oil pressure under hard cornering. 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds at 124 mph, both with available equipment.

Z06 — LT6 5.5L Naturally Aspirated Flat-Plane V8

670 hp, with an 8,600-rpm redline — the highest of any naturally aspirated production V8 Chevrolet builds. 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and the quarter mile in 10.6 seconds at 131 mph, both with available equipment.

ZR1 — LT7 5.5L Twin-Turbo Flat-Plane V8

1,064 hp at 7,000 rpm from an 8,000-rpm-redline twin-turbo V8 — the most powerful engine ever offered in a production Corvette. 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds and the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds at 150 mph, both with available equipment.

ZR1X — LT7 Twin-Turbo V8 Plus Hybrid eAWD

1,250 combined hp from the identical LT7 plus a front electric drive unit, delivering the quickest numbers in the lineup: 0-60 mph in 1.89 seconds and the quarter mile in 8.99 seconds at 157 mph, both with available equipment. This is a self-charging hybrid — no plug, no charge port, no MPGe rating.

The Z06 and ZR1 share their 5.5L displacement and flat-plane crank but are not the same engine — the Z06 is naturally aspirated, the ZR1 is twin-turbocharged. Every 2027 Corvette runs the standard 8-speed dual-clutch automatic; no manual is offered on any 2027 model.

Exterior Dimensions

Every 2027 Corvette shares the same C8 aluminum spaceframe and a 107.0-inch wheelbase and 48.6-inch height. The Stingray alone uses the narrow body; the Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X all share the wide body for larger front and rear tracks and more cooling.

Ask your Nunnally Chevy salesperson for the exact curb weight on the specific car you're considering. As a vehicle-class fact worth knowing before you shop: GM has historically published dry weight, not curb weight, for the Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X, so a figure you find elsewhere may not include fluids.

Interior Dimensions

Seating is two across every 2027 Corvette — there is no back seat on any model. Total cargo volume, split between a front trunk and a rear trunk, runs about 12.6 cubic feet on the narrow-body Stingray; the wide-body track cars (Z06, ZR1, ZR1X) run somewhat less, closer to 9.1 cubic feet, because the wider body and additional cooling hardware reduce usable rear-trunk space. The coupe's removable roof panel, standard across the lineup, stows in the rear trunk when it's off the car.

Capacity and Capability

No 2027 Corvette carries a factory tow or payload rating, on any model. This is a vehicle-class fact, not a missing spec: a two-seat, mid-engine sports car is not engineered, rated or marketed for towing or hauling by Chevrolet, on the Stingray, Z06, ZR1 or ZR1X. Cargo capacity, covered above, is the relevant practicality figure for this lineup.

Fuel Economy

Chevrolet has not yet published EPA fuel-economy ratings for the 2027 Corvette lineup at fueleconomy.gov, on any of the four models — a routine timing gap for a new model year, not a missing spec on our part. Route any fuel-economy question to fueleconomy.gov directly, and check back as ratings publish through the model year.

Safety and Compliance

Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Park Assist and the HD Rear Vision Camera with Rear Camera Mirror are standard on every 2027 Corvette. Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Alert are standard from the 2LT on the Stingray, from the 2LZ on the Z06, and standard from the entry level on the ZR1 and ZR1X. No 2027 Corvette offers Super Cruise or adaptive cruise control. The Corvette is not crash-tested by NHTSA or IIHS on any 2027 model; route any crash-rating question directly to nhtsa.gov or iihs.org rather than to a claim on this page.

What These 2027 Corvette Numbers Mean in Practice

NumberWhat it means for you
Stingray, 76.1 in wideFits a standard single-car garage bay and threads a tight two-lane road more easily than the wide-body cars
Z06/ZR1/ZR1X, 79.7 in wideStill garages in a standard bay, but leaves less margin for mirrors on either side
107.0-in wheelbase, every modelIdentical footprint across the lineup — parking and maneuvering feel the same regardless of which engine you choose
12.6 cu ft cargo (Stingray)Front trunk for a weekend bag, rear trunk for a second bag or the removed roof panel — not a grocery-run car, but a genuine weekend-trip one
No tow/payload rating, every modelBudget for a separate vehicle for any hauling or towing need — this is a two-seat sports car by design, not a compromise

Specifications FAQs

Why don't the Z06 and ZR1 share performance numbers if they share an engine displacement?

They share 5.5L displacement and a flat-plane crank, but the Z06's LT6 is naturally aspirated while the ZR1's LT7 is twin-turbocharged — different engines, 394 hp apart.

Is a 2027 Corvette curb weight published?

Ask your Nunnally Chevy salesperson for the exact curb weight on the specific car you're considering. Historically, GM has published dry weight rather than curb weight for the track-focused Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X.

What is the 2027 Corvette's fuel economy rating?

Not yet published at fueleconomy.gov for any 2027 Corvette model as of this writing. Check fueleconomy.gov directly for the current status.

Do all 2027 Corvettes have the same cargo capacity?

Close, but not identical. The narrow-body Stingray carries about 12.6 cubic feet across its two trunks; the wide-body Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X run somewhat less, closer to 9.1 cubic feet, because of the wider body and added cooling hardware.
